Hello Tweeters -

This past week, there has been an every growing flock of Am. Wigeons enjoying our little protected area. It's so fun hearing them late at night while walking the dog past our skittish Killdeer - the sweet soft chirping is so soothing - especially when the tide is calm and still.

This am I went to see just how many are now taking refuge and this is what I found:

165 + American Wigeons
3 Barrow's Goldeneye (2 male, one female)
15 Mallards asleep on the beach logs
