Subject: [Tweeters] communicating - who are the Tweeters subscribers?

Does anyone know how many Tweeters subscribers there are and a bit about our
demographics? I don't know if everyone really wants to make posts useful to
a maximum number of subscribers and some may be primarily targeting a
certain subset of subscribers, but if we are trying to make our posts useful
to a maximum number of subscribers it might be good to have a better idea of
how many subscribers there are and a bit of the demographics, such as the
mix of experience levels, ages and locations. I know that is not
necessarily easy to get, but if someone has a good idea that would be
useful.

It seems that some would have non-insiders do more research to make posts
easier to follow, while others would have some posters at least occasionally
spend at least a bit more time making the posts clear to a larger audience
so that more subscribers could follow those posts and have them be useful
without spending additional time researching what birds and places or
subjects they are talking about.

Since the group is large I presume that at least occasionally taking a bit
more time making posts clear and useful to a larger group could save time
for numerous subscribers, thus generally saving the whole group more time
than the poster spent making things a bit easier for the whole group to use.

There is no simple answer to the ideal balance.
