In addition to BirdWeb, I highly recommend ?A Birder?s Guide to Washington?
(Opperman et al, American Birdiing Association, $30). It gives precise
driving directions to birding sites, statewide, lists what you?re likely to
find at them at various seasons, and is an ideal answer to ?I?m new, where
are some good birding spots?? ?What the heck is West 90?? etc., etc.

I do appreciate those folks who put relevant info in the subject line, such
as ?Scrub jay on Queen Ann, Seattle? or ?Nisqually 10/17/07.? I usually
skip items with vague subject lines like ?Glorious day for birding.?
