They come to the feeders all year round, yes, so keep it topped up and
they'll keep visiting you. It's wonderful to see them in the drab winter
days, the little jewels flashing through the garden.

Subject: [Tweeters] Do Anna's Hummingbirds come to nectar feeders in the
winter?

I recently had a lot of work done on my house and had to disassemble my
bird feeder set-up. I am about to reassemble it and am wondering if it
is worthwhile to put up a nectar feeder, which I haven't done in this
location before. I bet that a lot of Tweeters can tell me if Anna's
come to nectar feeders in the winter or does their diet become
exclusively carnivorous?

Thanks in advance,

Dale
