Hello All,
On this spectacular fall day we birded the Walla Walla River delta and saw
the following species.....

Sora- 7 birds observed along the edges of the cattail, phragmites and Reed
canary Grass at the edge of the mud flats. The water was low this morning.
This is our personal high record for numbers of Sora in Walla Walla county.
This is when they pass along the Columbia River headed south. This is a
species that is very difficult to locate in this area anytime of year.

Western Sandpiper-37 birds
Caspian Tern-3 birds

Tyson Pond-very high water-no shoreline.

Red-necked Phalarope-155 birds

Tyson Blood Pond-nasty as always.

Bairds Sandpiper-5 birds
Yellow-headed Blackbird-1

That is it.
Later Mike
