Today my husband Mark Ahlness and I saw nine Buff Breasted Sandpipers at
Midway Beach. They flew in over heads as we explored the beach north of the
road, and ultimately landed just north of Midway Beach Road. (almost IN the
road) Later we met Greg and Susan Toffic in Tokeland, and they reported that
they had seen eight. Such gorgeous birds!
