Subject: [Tweeters] Battle Ground Night Flight - 9/2am

Hi Tweeters,
Here's a quick recap of the night flight early on the morning of
September 2 (4am-5:45am):
Swainson's Thrush 139
Yellow Warbler 3
warbler (sp) 2
sparrow (sp) 1
unidentified 8
Early this morning, I thought there would be no night flight given the
rain. However, when I awaoke at 6am, I heard no less than 20 fly over
between 6am and 6:05am. Unfortunately, the local crows started to
leave the roost a half mile from the house at that time and they make
more noise than a thousand thrushes could make so I could hear nothing
else.
