Hello All,
This evening our yard hosted a second year female Broad-tailed Hummingbird.
This bird is very bright "peach" along the flanks, pure white throat with
gray cheeks & spotting along the side of the throat. Longer pointed white
tipped tail. The tail is much longer than the closed wings. The crown and
nape are a green with the rest of the back bright green. The bill is long
and broad. I took some photos and will go for more in the morning. Hope it
shows up in the morning.
