Hiya tweets,

Went out to the Union Bay Natural Area (aka UBNA) next to the UW football stadium this morning. Was starting to get loud with all of the honking horns and blaring bass from cars for the game later today as early as 9:00am. Still, I was able to get 35 quick species down there, including a Solitary Sandpiper at the little pond in the southeast corner near the point. A Green Heron also flew by the point out there, and I saw a flock of 6 Northern Pintails fly away. There were still a couple of Savannah Sparrows hanging around, one Caspian Tern flew by and squawked, and there were a few of all 3 Teal species (Cinnamon, Blue-winged and Green-winged) hanging around the little mud islands at the west end of the 'natural area'.
