Friday, I spent some time birding areas in Ocean Shores. I did meet and talk to Charlie Wright two times and was glad to hear he was finding some excellent birds. My most notable sightings were the following:

Ocean Shores STP: 6 Red-necked Phalaropes, 1 Peregrine Falcon

Beach area opposite the large cement water tank near Damon Point: 2 juvenile Greater White-fronted Geese (these geese did not have the white patch at the base of the bill, their bills were also a pinkish-white color, all other field marks match Greater White-fronted)

Bill's Spit: 1 Long-billed Curlew, 25 Marbled Godwits, and about 20 Black-bellied Plovers

Good birding!
