Hello All
I did a short hike with my family from the upper Sunrise parking lot to Frozen
Lake and back. Highlights of the walk were at least 3 Prairie Falcons (many
sightings), 1 Swainson's Hawk soaring over the parking lot (my 3rd record
here!), 15 Mountain Bluebirds, and a mother and young Black Bear. Also, on
Frozen Lake were 2 American Wigeon and 1 Northern Pintail. I'm not sure how
regular they are in the park but I doubt they're seen very often up there.
