Hello Birders,

We have just updated our website with an assortment of photos taken during last weekend's trip to eastern Washington. We photographed a bat hanging from a large Black Cottonwood tree at Sentinel Bluff on the 6th,which were are not sure of the exact species. We have considered Fringed Bat,but perhaps someone has another candidate.The bat flew around several times before finding a place to hang from and it seemed odd to see it during mid day. Other photos during our trip included a male Williamson's Sapsucker at Bassett Park, a Black-throated Gray Warbler at Sentinel Bluff, an immature Peregrine Falcon at Palouse Falls State Park, and a cooperative Dusky Flycatcher at Lyons Ferry State Park.
