I checked out the game range from the Tonquin end with 3 other birders from 3-5 and found it very quiet - not many birds active, lots of western sandpipers sitting motionless with heads under their wings. We did pick up a single American golden-plover and eventually a couple of buff-breasted sandpipers flew in with some westerns. We dipped on the ruff. John said he'd seen the Tennesse warbler in the trees near Hoquiam STP this morning.
