This last Monday, I was able to do the Cameron Lake Look as described in Birding Washington. I did all my birding with my camera and eyes, so assuredly did not see as many species as I would have with binoculars and scope. However, I would like to report that there were 300 or 400 Sandhill Cranes at Duley Lake. About 30 of them flew right over my head at about 50 feet altitude. It was great!
