There has been some discussion of how to offer assistance to help
those trying to clean up the mess on High Island after Hurricane Humberto
passed within 5 miles of this site. Houston Audubon Society (see link
below) has a good article on the damage that has occurred there and HAS also
operates Boy Scout Woods, Smith Oak and the other places that people go to
bird there. The link below also has a donation form link.
