Help! After a week of wonderfully frenetic Steller's Jay (and occasional
crow) activity at peanut feeder, I find myself un-peanuttiest, out of stock,
nuttered.

My last batch was acquired at Wild Birds, a ways away and at best not
accessible before weekend. Can I substitute unsalted-in-shell from grocery? Would
they be ideally raw or roasted?
