Don asked me to query Tweeters:

Are there any birds in the Sound that are likely to
mimic a Scrub Jay call? Has anyone heard a Steller's
imitate a scrub jay?

The Monday the 17th Don was inside his house at
Richmond Beach and heard the call of a scrub jay once.
He ran outside but saw and heard nothing again.

Have there been any sightings of scrub jays in the
North Seattle area or in Snohomish county?
