This morning our birdwalk group led by Naturalist
Dan Moore came upon three Horned Larks at the west
end of bird alley in the sand pile. Happily, Luci
Boyle had previously seen them and made the ID, backed
up by our field guides.Perhaps they are the same
Mark saw in Redmond.
We also saw three Cooper's Hawks.

>Today I found the 3 Horned Larks at Marymoor Park in Redmond. They were near a group of 7 Killdeers and a large flock of Canada Geese, over in the fields, north east corner of the park. This is not far from the climbing rocks. They were hanging out in a long patch of overgrown gravel that runs north/south through this field.

> I also saw the two immature Cooper's Hawks, they were brawling with Crows in the dead trees next to the flower/vegetable gardens. It was hard to say who was giving who a worse time.
