If you read Paul Hick's post today, it will probably make you think about Patrick. For many of us Patrick and Ruth brought all these sites that Paul talked about, as well as many others, to life. Patrick's posts allowed us to visit these areas long before the Washington book was available. They always provided an open window to those of us who couldn't be out there in the field with them. And as many have already stated, that was immeasurably appreciated. Hopefully we as a community will keep these windows open and remember Patrick as a pioneer who fostered that spirit. Ruth, our thoughts are with you.
