I am greatly saddened by Patrick's early death. I first heard of
Patrick as he enrolled in Bob Ramsey's Naturalist Program at Snake Lake Nature Ctr. He soon was in a birding class with Ruth.
As a teenager you could see the eagerness and ability Patrick
possessed.

As he grew in birding, he lead many field trips for TAS, later branching out to WOS and of course making many great discov-
erys on his own across the state. On TAS cbc's Patrick was
always contributiing great finds and eventully leading an intercity
area. It was always amazing as we gathered to hear new finds
as his knowledge of the area grew. Patrick was quiet and thoughtful, but just mention an avenue of birding and he would
share his knowledge.

I am most saddened for you Ruth and filled with hope for you at
this too soon passing. Patrick will be greatly missed by all.
