I would like to add to the idea that a birding trail in Grays Harbor could be named after Patrick. I wonder if we could influence the Washington State Parks department to name a trail at the soon to be re-vamped Bottle Beach state park. I know the state is going to add trails and blinds to this park at some point so why don't we all email/contact the state parks to see if we can have the trail named after Patrick. It would be nice to have an interpretive sign there noting his huge contributions to the birding world especially in Grays Harbor.

Just an idea...

I will explore it more tomorrow.
