Subject: [Tweeters] Patrick Sullivan memorial idea

When my dad died, my mom had an Orcaboard bench installed at Normandy
Cove, my dad's favorite place. Something similar could be done for a
memorial to Patrick, at Ocean Shores or wherever a memorial trail is
placed. My dad's bench has his name inscribed on it, along with a
biblical reference, "Lifted up on eagles' wings," which would also be
appropriate for Patrick. Just an idea that I wanted to mention, as my
family was quite pleased with the bench, which is constructed of a
"vandalism-free" material. Here is a link to the website:

I never had the pleasure of meeting Patrick, but like everyone else,
read his and Ruth's wonderfully detailed posts with avid interest and
pored over the photos on their website. Once I emailed him with a
dragonfly question and quickly received a friendly and helpful response.
A small thing, maybe, but still revealing about his character--and it
made a difference to me. It is abundantly clear that Patrick made the
world a better place.
