A small number of Sandhill Cranes have been spotted on the Snow Goose Reserve on Fir Island yesterday (9/25) and today. Yesterday a pair was foraging in the winter wheat at the southern end of the Reserve and today there were five flying above the same area when one broke away from the group and landed in the same field the pair was in the day before. Thanks to my co-worker Brad Otto for giving me the heads up.
