Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday September 27. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

The LAWRENCE?S GOLDFINCH continues to be seen at Spencer Platt?s feeders in
Winston.

SABINE?S GULLS were reported during the week at the North Spit of Coos Bay,
the mouth of the Siuslaw River, on Vancouver Lake, two at Wickiup Reservoir,
and three at the mouth of the Deschutes River.

On September 20 a flock of 120 MARBLED GODWITS were at Coos Bay. Three RED
PHALAROPES were at the South Jetty of the Siuslaw River September 21. On
September 24 a PALM WARBLER and a LAPLAND LONGSPUR were on Cascade Head. A
MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD was there September 26.

On September 22 a PARASITIC JAEGER was at Vancouver Lake. Two LAPLAND
LONGSPURS were over Vancouver September 24. A MOCKINGBIRD was along Farmer
Road, near Baskett Slough NWR September 24. On September 23 a MOUNTAIN
CHICKADEE was in Corvallis. Two were at Foster Reservoir near Sweet Home the
next day. A SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER is now being seen at Fern Ridge
Reservoir.

A flock of 12 EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVES are now in a The Dalles neighborhood.
Fifteen are coming to a feeder in Hines. On September 24 a TENNESSEE WARBLER
and two WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS were on Green Ridge near Camp Sherman. On
September 20 a NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH was at Fields. A PARASITIC JAEGER was at
Chickahominy Reservoir during the week.
