Tweets, Saturday morning I birded the conservation property just east of
Tenino with some interesting finds.
- 1 WHITE-THROATED SPARROW (white-stripe adult) - A personal first for this
location having birded it regularly for around 15 years.
- 1 VAUX'S SWIFT among scads of V-g Swallows
- 1 female BLACK-TH GRAY WARBLER
- 2 SWAINSON'S THRUSH
- 1 PACIFIC-SL FLYCATCHER - Foraging in the same tree with other twitchy,
elongate-eyeringed, small, greenish-gray birds: several Ruby-cr Kinglets and
a couple Hutton's Vireos--just to keep me on my toes. The very soft locator
call note confirmed my meager empid-identification skills.
Good birding!
