Last week I thought I heard a White-crowned Sparrow (WCSP) near my yard. In a hurry, I didn't look for it, and didn't list it (was I really hearing a WCSP?- guess I'd better listen to my bird CD to be ready for spring). Then this week the white-crowned thread. This morning I heard and saw two males singing near the UW Medical Center--each vying for female attention. They have such cute heads! Now I have to add the one I heard to my 2008 yard list.
