Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday April 3. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

TUFTED PUFFINS are now back along the coast. CLIFF SWALLOWS are now joining
the VIOLET-GREEN and TREE SWALLOW flocks. GREATER YELLOWLEGS are now
increasing as are other shorebirds.

On March 26 two BARN SWALLOWS were on the North Spit of Coos Bay. A
YELLOWTHROAT was on the spit March 27. Three MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRDS and a
LAPLAND LONGSPUR were at the South Jetty of the Columbia River March 27.

Two MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRDS are now at Ridgefield NWR. On March 30 a CASPIAN TERN
was on Sauvie Island. A GLAUCOUS GULL was seen March 27 at Westmoreland Park
in Portland. On April 2 a ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOW was in Eugene.

On March 29 a VESPER SPARROW and a LONG-BILLED CURLEW were at Hood River.
On march 24, 200 TRICOLORED BLACKBIRDS and 20 MARBLED GODWITS were at Lower
Klamath NWR.
