Dear Tweeters,

Today (Friday, April 4, 2008) at 8:20 AM, a Say's
Phoebe showed up in my yard in Skagit County. Last
Friday, I finally ticked this species for the first
time in Skagit, just west of here in Lyman. Perhaps
the same bird is lingering hereabouts?

If you'd like to try for the one in my yard, feel
free. I am just east of Lyman, on Healy Road. Take the
second right after mile marker 75, and it's the first
house on the right. The bird is flycatching from the
barbed-wire fence line behind (west of) my house.

That's two new yards birds in two days; yesterday, a
Red Crossbill made a long-overdue first appearance
here.
