It was a windy early afternoon, but saw an Anna's doing his "J" move, a bushtit nest...

Shovelers, greenwinged teals, wigeons, buffleheads...at the pond...a pair of hooded mergansers on the back pond...always a delight! Several common mergansers at the head of the backwaters (what do you call that???).

We saw several yellow-rumped warblers with goldfinches...among the willow branches.

I'm sure there were lots there we did not see.

An eagle was standing guard over the new nest just beyond the UH parking lot.

A Good day!
