Subject: [Tweeters] Sno-Falls Peregrine Eggs Counted!

On Sunday around 11:00 am, two of us were watching the peregrines at Snoqualmie Falls. Suddenly the female left the cliff nest, and the male joined her in mid-air, handing her a tasty bird-treat (we did not see what it was). While she flew to a branch on the other side of the ravine to eat her meal, my friend counted the eggs in the nest (4) before the male came to sit on them. Several days ago, the female also caught a goldeneye, and left its carcass down below on the rocks, partially eaten. It was an amazing day.
