Hello All,

Today MerryLynn and I joined Ken Knittle and Anne Kahle in birding the Lower
Columbia Basin. We started out with no wind and worked our way out to
Wallula Gap and 15 MPH winds. Birds of note observed:

Black-necked Stilt-3 near Lowden in flooded field
Eurasian collard Dove-1 in Touchet
Red-naped Sapsucker-1 in Touchet
White-throated Swift-5+ near Port Kelley
Common Loon-1 at Port Kelley
Am. Avocet-1 at the Tyson Ponds, 4 at the animal shelter pond in Pasco and
11 at the Millet Pond.
Tundra Swan-2 at McNary NWR, HQ
Mountain Bluebird-3 at Tyson Ponds
Vesper Sparrow-1 high in a maple singing at Sacajawea SP.
Long-billed Curlew-1 at the Millet Pond
Dunlin-75+ at the Millet Pond
Swainsons Hawk-2 near Lowden
