Not birds, but we had an encounter with two Coyotes on the path near the
North Parking Lot of Lincoln Park on Friday afternoon, around 3:30 p.m. I
know the warning signs have been up nearby, so this is not news to anyone in
the neighborhood. We have seen a single Coyote in the park before, but this
is the first time we've seen more than one. They were not especially afraid
of us, and were very close to the path.
And...it's the first time we've had Chestnut-Backed Chickadees nesting in
our yard. They are cute little terrorists.
