hi tweets- today + yesterday, i was down at the spit in tulalip bay,
checking out the numerous black bellied plovers +dunlins in many
different phases of developing their breeding plumage + sanderlings
,when i saw 2 small grey brown birds w/ black pointed beaks- at first i
thought pipits-then they flew + revealed BRIGHT BLUE wings, rumps
+tails!-obvious then as female mountain bluebirds-this is the first time
i have seen them at tulalip- i'm curious if others have seen 2 of same
