Since I just posted the sighting of Ospreys from the West Seattle Bridge, I
thought I should mention a beginning birders' class that either my co-worker
Brian Heerdt or I will be leading this saturday from 9:30 am to noon for the
Seattle Parks department at Camp Long and then to Herring's House Park on
the Duwamish River where Osprey can be observed on their nest and Purple
Martins may be back at their gourds, as I just described in that post on the
Osprey return. I think there are still a few spots, sorry for the late
