Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday April 10. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

A possible CARACARA was seen April 6 along I5 near Brownsville. It could not
be relocated. On April 6 a SLATY-BACKED GULL was photographed on the Lane
County coast at Cape Creek .

Noticeable movements during the week included RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS,
CASSIN?S VIREOS, YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS, ORANGE-CROWNED, YELLOW-RUMPED,
BLACK-THROATED GRAY, and TOWNSEND?S WARBLERS. COMMON YELLOWTHROATS are now
back and BROWN PELICANS are moving along the coast.

On April 5 a PURPLE MARTIN was on Sauvie Island. A male BLUE-WINGED TEAL was
at Killin Wetlands, west of Banks April 4. On April 5 a WILSON?S WARBLER was
reported from Oregon City. On April 4 a EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL was at
Ankeny NWR and a BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER was at Baskett Slough NWR.

A male MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD was near Brownsville April 7. That day a
MOCKINGBIRD, a PURPLE MARTIN, and three BLACK-NECKED STILTS were at Fern
Ridge Reservoir. A PACIFIC-SLOPE FLYCATCHER and an early VAUX?S SWIFT were
in Eugene April 9.

A BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER was back April 7 at the Manzanita Rest stop on I5
near Merlin.
