Hi! No Screech Owls as yet, but a Great Horned Owl has been sounding off
here in the early morning hours. Incidentally, our mallard pair evidently had
an altercation of sorts: the female walked all around the garden, the male
faithfully behind her, but you could almost hear him saying: "Make up your
