Hi Tweeters,

I don't know if they use a chimney but there is roost
somewhere near Cavanaugh Ponds Park which is between
Renton and Maple Valley. When I lived near there I
would sit next to one of the ponds until dusk and see
the Vaux's Swifts gather to roost above me. I tried
to find the roost across the Cedar River where I
suspected it was and never found it.

A Downy Woodpecker roosted in an old snag hole at that
location and it always amazed me how fast it zoomed
into the hole, if you blinked you would miss it.
