This morning I visited the River's edge along Lower River Rd just upstream from Ridgefield NWR. I did not have anything great I was hoping for a good migrant or two. I did have about 25 yellow-rumped warblers, two golden-crowned kinglet and two ruby-crowned kinglet. There were large numbers of Canada and cackling geese all over and a good number of sandhill cranes.
