At the not as low tide this afternoon on our beach by the Des Moines, WA jetty, there were some new additions to the current regulars. Joining the large flock of Brants, miscellaneous crows, pigeons and gulls, there were the following:

6 pair Am. Wigeons
1 Belted Kingfisher
1 Canadian Goose
12 + Common Terns

It'll be interesting to see if the Tern numbers increase and for how long they will choose to stay on our beach for this years season.
