The seemingly inevitable happened this morning, as a Eurasian Collared-Dove called across the road from our house this morning, east of Tenino along Scatter Creek (4531 Old Military Rd. SE). Perhaps it's just a matter of time (minutes?) before it joins the Mourning Doves near the bird feeders.
