Hello Tweets,
A morning at Marymoor Park turned up a female Red-naped sapsucker and two Chipping sparrows. The sapsucker was found on the trail to the Rowing house to the southeast of the main park. The bird was interacting off-and-on with Red-breasted sapsuckers near the large weeping willow just past the larger pond on your left, about 100 yards from the parking area. Large numbers of Y-R warblers, several Orange-crowned warblers, a Common yellowthroat and a male Black-throated gray warbler were in the same area. Nice! The Chipping sparrows were at the dirt piles near the off-leash dog area in the main park; both birds were moulting and one was without a tail.
