Hi Tweets,

I wanted to just say some highlights from this mornings walk around the outer loop trial. There were lots of birders and I am sure they all will be reporting in.
Otter at the visitor center overlook.
Savannah sparrows singing,
lots and lots of ducks, the Wood ducks are pairing up and doing a great job of posing for photos
Horned Grebe on McAlister Creek
and a large flock of Yellowlegs
Common Golden eye female on the Nisqually river
Merlin at the ring dike
red-eared slider, Turkey Vulture.
Black-capped Chickadees remodeling a nest hole from last year.
Snow goose at the entrance with 100's of Canada geese.
Yellow rumps ruled the day for sheer numbers.
It was a great morning!
