Morning Tweets,

This morning I got an email from my neighbors that they had spotted what we
presume to be the same immature female Peregrine Falcon sitting on the north
side of the Maple Leaf Reservoir with a full crop. The bird was spotted about
6:00 am and when I went down the block a few minutes ago (8:00 am) I ran into my
neighbor. He told me the Peregrine had been chased off the water tower by
crows but sitting on the cell tower nearby. Sure enough she was still sitting
there as we got to the end of the block. However, a few seconds later she took
off (no crows were harassing her) and headed north. I was hoping to see if she
was banded but no luck. Maybe next time! Those of you in the Maple Leaf
area-keep your eyes out!
