I conducted a bird survey out at the Grays Harbor NWR in Hoquiam today. I was there from 9:30am until 12:30pm. The weather was interesting with moderate winds and hail. Highlights include a pair of Cinnamon Teal on the Hoquaim STP pond, the lingering Snow Geese at GHNWR (viewed from the parking lot), some returning shorebirds, and a big northbound flock of Greater white-fronted Geese over GHNWR.
