Tweeters,

Noteworthy birds on Crab Creek Trail in Columbia NWR of Othello include: 2 orange crowned warblers, 2 nashville warblers, ruby crowned kinglet, rufous hummingbird, vauxs swift, sharp shinned hawk, and an osprey. Bitterbrush is blooming and insects are buzzing. I plan to revisit this trail regularly and will keep you informed of new arrivals and numbers. Caspian terns, sandhill cranes, and long billed curlews can be heard and seen from this trailhead too.

Cheers,

Sidra Blake
