Just a short note to say I spent an hour before high tide at Bottle Beach watching a mixed flock of about 500 shorebirds. Mostly Dunlin, quite a few Black-bellied Plover, about the same Short-billed Dowitchers, a few Western Sandpipers and one Greater Yellowlegs.
