Had a good movement of birds today with several first spring birds for me. The big push began at about 1030 hrs and is when I picked up the warbler species other than yellow-rumped and orange-crowned (when I had only a couple).

Here are highlights.

yellow-rumped (250), orange-crowned (11), Nashville (1), Wilson's (2), Yellow (2), black-throated gray (1) warblers. 40 common yellowthroat, warbling vireo (1), Western tanager (1), golden-crowned kinglet (1), hairy (2) and downy (4) woodpeckers.

The empids also showed up with.

willow (4), Pacific-sloped (1), Hammond's (2) flycatchers
