What a beautiful day for birding and a good day for migrants too. I had a female Mountain Bluebird flycatching from a telephone on Cockerham Island Road near Lyman, a Solitary Sandpiper wading nervously around the edges of a small pool on Kelleher Rd just east of old highway 99, and when I got home there was a Chipping Sparrow eating birdseed on my parents porch just outside of Anacortes! I can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring!
