There were a handful of migrants in our Big-leaf Maple on Saturday morning and best
of the lot was a CASSIN'S VIREO - definitely a new bird for our yard. The other migrants
included a 1-2 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS, several YELLOW-RUMPS and a RUBY-
CROWNED KINGLET.

We continue to have a HERMIT THRUSH as a daily visior in our back yard; perhap it
knows the higher reaches of the mountain, to where it should be headed, are still
snowed in.
