Tweeters,

A male Black-headed Grosbeak began visiting our seed feeders around noon today, the first one of the season. He is sharing the feeders today with about a dozen American Goldfinches, equal numbers of Purple Finches, and a squadron of Band-tailed Pigeons that swarm the feeders every hour or so.

Also in the yard this morning: Hermit Thrush, Lincoln's Sparrow, and a flock of 10+ Yellow-rumped Warblers.

Good birding, Bob
